No More Google Radio
On thursday, the NY Times reported:
Google said it was ending its radio project, Google Audio Ads, because it had failed to live up to expectations. Up to 40 people are expected to lose their jobs.
It was the second time in two months that Google had killed a program meant to expand its advertising business offline, suggesting that the appeal of Google’s automated model for selling ads may be far more limited than the company once hoped.

DomainFest 2009
I attended DomainFest 2009 last week in Hollywood, CA. The event was well attended and I met a lot of domainers with large portfolios. And of course I traveled across the entire US to meet someone who is about 5 miles from my office back in NY…..but that’s how life goes……

The Keynote speaker was Steve “Woz” co-founder of Apple…..he spoke about entrepreneurship and I have a video clip of that for you!
And there were certainly A LOT of auctions……here is a clip from the charity auction for ElectricOven.com - the proceeds of this auction went to charity and the winner got a ride with a Playboy Bunny to the Playboy mansion…..what a country!
